第九条
Pursuant to 第九条 of the Education Amendments of 1972 and other applicable law and policy, 仁慈的大学 prohibits 不正当的性行为, 骚扰, 和歧视. 具体地说, no person shall on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, 被剥夺…的利益, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity of the 大学. 第九条 Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Information
性暴力 is a term with a specific legal connotation. It encompasses a broad range of behavior that includes all forms of 不正当的性行为 and 性暴力. 性暴力 refers to sexual acts committed against a person’s will, or where the person is incapable of giving consent because of incapacitation, 无意识, or any circumstance rendering one unaware that sexual activity is occurring. 根据这项政策, 性骚扰包括, but is not limited to 性侵犯, 性剥削, 跟踪, 网络狩猎, 欺凌, 网络欺凌, 家庭暴力, 约会暴力, 性别歧视, 和报复.

美慈大学 不当性行为政策 contains useful information related to preventing and responding to 不正当的性行为, including an extensive list of resources both 在校内外 (see 附录B 到政策). Also included in the policy is the Student Bill of Rights (see 附录A (参阅政策).
Director of 第九条 and Equity Compliance
的 Director of 第九条 and Equity Compliance at 仁慈的大学 is responsible for overseeing the 大学第九条的努力包括:
- Coordination of the 大学's efforts to comply with 第九条 as well as New York State and other laws.

- Coordinating the 大学's investigation of complaints pursuant to 第九条 including sexual 骚扰 and 不当行为.

- Directing students and employees to confidential resources both 在校内外.
